A Little Bit About Food Photography Shoots:

Let’s talk about food—the delicious, drool-worthy kind that makes your audience stop scrolling mid-bite of their lunch and say, “I need that in my life!” Whether you’re looking to build a killer visual content library for social media, create mouth-watering recipes for your business, shoot a cookbook (or all of the above!), I’ve got your back, and I promise we’ll make it both delicious and fun.

I’m based in a gorgeous, light-filled photo studio housed in an old mill building, which means it’s full of character and charm. I’ve got an in-house food stylist and recipe developer (who knows all the tricks to make that salad look like it just came to life), a treasure trove of props that will make your dishes pop, a dreamy kitchen on-site for all your cooking and styling needs, and a bajillion photo surfaces in every color and texture you can imagine (did I mention that my husband and I make them??)

No matter the project, we can create the kind of food photos that make people’s taste buds do a happy dance. And the best part? You get to enjoy the creative process while we handle the magic behind the camera. It’s all about collaboration, fun, and bringing your food to life in the most photogenic way possible.

Rates for food photography vary depending on the size and scope of project, so please contact me for a quote.

What is Brand Photography?

Gone are the days when the only photo you needed for your website was a stiff, awkward headshot—one that made you look like you were auditioning for a job interview instead of showing off your true self. Let’s face it: we’re living in a visual world. From the moment we wake up, we’re constantly bombarded with images—on social media, ads, and even the food we order for delivery. And whether we realize it or not, the way things look plays a huge role in the decisions we make.

Think about it—when you meet someone for the first time, what do you notice? Maybe it’s their outfit, their smile, or the energy they radiate. I can’t help but laugh when I think about how my best friend and I met. I’ll never forget the moment I saw her for the first time—rocking a Cocteau Twins t-shirt and stomping around in Doc Martens. I remember thinking, yep, we're gonna be friends. (And she had a similar first impression of me!) Fast-forward 30 years, and we’re still inseparable.

That right there is a perfect example of what brand photography can do for you: It helps people form an instant connection with you. You get to show off who you are—beyond the stiff headshot—through imagery that speaks to your personality, your passions, and your vibe.

So, whether you’re a coffee-lover, a mountain hiker, or an artist who creates magic with your hands, let your photos tell that story! Brand photography is a powerful way to attract the people you actually want to work with. It gives you the chance to show off the little details that make you… you.

Here’s a quick rundown of what brand photography usually includes:

  • Photos of YOU! These are the fun, relaxed shots that showcase your personality in different settings—whether you're working, having fun, or just doing your thing.

  • Photos of your team, if you’ve got one. After all, your team is part of your brand too!

  • Images of your workplace. Is it cozy, creative, or bustling with energy? These shots let people see where the magic happens.

  • Photos of how you work. If you're a maker, show the process—maybe you’re welding, painting, or crafting. If you're a therapist, maybe it's you in your office, writing in your notebook, or chatting with a client. Whatever it is, let the camera capture your process.

  • Product shots, if applicable. Got a product or service to promote? These photos help tell the story of your brand’s offerings.

In short, brand photography is a way to visually communicate who you are, what you do, and what makes you unique. It’s like giving your audience a sneak peek into your world, helping them see you as more than just a face on a website. So why settle for a boring headshot when you can give people a complete picture of your awesomeness?
